What does the 2019 DVS Survey tell about us?

This exploratory visualization lets you see the responses for a particular question and compare it with responses to a different question. As the number of responses are varied, the proportion of total responses for each question is represented. The facility to juxtapose any question with any other question enables endless ways to slice and dice the data, leading to a nuanced understanding the responses.

We have only considered responses from 30 questions which are closed questions of the 50 questions from the survey, leaving out the responses from the 19 open-ended or numeric input questions. We have classified the 30 questions in 5 broad categories so they can be easily located and selected.

About the Data

The analysis and visualization is made from datasets from the Data Visualization Society. List of questions used in the questionaire can be found in google document. The code for the visualization is available on Github.
